Throughout the year, St. Mary's Hospital sponsors several fundraising events. As a non-profit organization, our facility draws from the generosity of the community to support unique opportunities such as the Foundation Scholarship Program. Additional activities such as the Annual Baby Toddler Fair and American Red Cross Blood Drive serve to educate area residents and support worthy causes. Golf Outing
The St. Mary's Hospital Auxiliary holds it’s annual Golf Tournament in September at the Breton Bay Golf and Country Club in Leonardtown. The Tournament one of the Auxiliary’s largest fundraisers and proceeds go towards the purchase of new Hospital equipment. |

On April 19, 2008, runners can participate in a 5K or 10K race around beautiful and historic Leonardtown, or participate in the 5K walk. Registration is held at the Governmental Center in Leonardtown, or participants can pre-register at www.runforhospice.org. The 5K and 10K races are Champion Chip events. |

Rockfish Tournament
Cast a line and make some new fishing friends at the 1st Annual Bobby D's Rockfish Tournament (all legal Maryland waters). Tournament takes place from
6:30 am - 4 pm on May 17th. Categories include:
2 Biggest Rockfish - Combined weight (each fish) and
16 and under - Biggest fish. The weigh-in will be at Courtney's Marina and Drury's Marina and will be monitored by Hospice Representatives. Boat Registration is $150.00. Prizes are:

Blood Drives
We invite you to join us by becoming one of the 1300 blood donors that are needed each day to meet the needs of patients in the Greater Chesapeake & Potomac Region, including St. Mary's County. Donate blood at the next American Red Cross Drive on April 21, 2008. The event runs from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. Call 301-475-6019 for an appointment.
